What happens in the event of a hard disk drive failure?

Kaleidescape Terra

When a hard disk drive fails in Terra, the system can still be fully enjoyed, but the downloaded movie content stored on the failed drive will be unavailable. If space is available on the remaining disk drives, the missing titles can be re-downloaded from the Kaleidescape Movie Store. If no space is available, the missing titles can be re-downloaded once a replacement hard disk drive is installed. Contact an authorized Kaleidescape dealer for a replacement hard disk drive. Be prepared with the serial number of Terra.

Kaleidescape Strato / Alto

When a hard disk drive failure is suspected in a Strato or Alto player, make a note of the serial number and contact an authorized Kaleidescape dealer.
